But really it was a streetwide effort. Every family brought too many cookies, too much frosting, and way too many sprinkles! We just let the kids loose and watched them create little masterpieces. I tell you what, Abby had quite a knack for it.
There were so many kids here! When they got tired of decorating they just played in the Sac. Kathryn of course did not get tired of the frosting!
The book exchange seemed to be a hit as well. The dynamics of the different age groups is very interesting. The 3 and unders all left with the same book they brought, while the 7 and ups all haggled and traded.
We are so happy to be on such an awesome street with all of these wonderful families! All of us are forming great friendships. We can't wait for the many get togethers that await us here on UPC!
