Well we had an awesome New Year's Eve!!
Everyone on UPC got together for a fun filled party with all the kiddos. We grilled fajitas, had margaritas, and a snow cone machine too. It was pretty cold for us Texans. We were all bundled up in our hats, gloves, and coats. I'm sure you Northerners are probably laughing at us because it was low 50s to 40s, but it sure did feel a lot colder!
The fireworks were going off all night long. Emma was just fascinated by them, she really had such a look of awe on her face.

Kathryn liked the pretty colors, but did not like the noise! Luckily Alli was there to hold her through the extreme pyromania displayed by our new friends. The only thing that could have made it any crazier was if Tony were here!
It was a night that accurately represented our year. We were lucky enough to have some old friends, the Brocks and Sheppersons, and all of our new friends on hand to celebrate.

Kathryn was thrilled to have Ashton be her personal chaffeur around the Sac!
No pictures of Alli and Abby because there were too busy being social butterflies to nail them down to smile for their mom. But lots of dancing, eating, drinking, and fun!!
I managed to avoid clean-up by sleeping in this morning. Great planning on my part! And I managed to avoid Joni's black-eyed peas, also great planning! After all they are a vegetable, right?? I did manage to listen to my Black Eyed Peas CD though, hopefully that will work for good luck in 2007!

If you had a school for professional fireworks people, I don't think you could cover fuses in just one class. It's just too rich a subject.
