Girls, Girls, Everywhere!

The morning started with a phone call at 6am. Boy, someone better be in the hospital for the phone to be ringing that early! Nope, it was the district calling to let us know that school was cancelled for the day. Yippee!!

After sleeping in, and much cuddling on the couch watching the very educational Nick Jr. lineup, it was time to get up and motivate. Charisse and Sarah and their girls were braving the treacherous icy roads (all one mile of it) to come and play. So eight girls in the house. Bring on the fun!

Charisse, Bella, and Lexie are visiting from sunny and warm Tampa, Florida this week. Might be regretting that decision right about now! We miss our friends very much since they moved away. Kathryn and Lexie are only nine days apart and we have great hopes of them causing mischief together through the years. There are a very cute pair to watch, just look at their tea party. Who knew it would be so hard to get two two-year olds to look at the camera at the same time?

Bella stayed behind and played a bit with Emma during naptime. They played hide and go seek with Alli and Abby. I have found the perfect way to actually get something done, just play that with your kids! Tell them you'll count and you can get a good 20 minutes to yourself. Bella, Emma and Alli were hiding and Abby actually gave up on trying to find them. After 15 minutes of too much silence, I joined in on the search. Can you find them? The thing that cracks me up is the fact that they were actually so quiet for so long! But now you know exactly where to find them when you come and play hide and seek with us.

We took Bella to eat dinner with us and all the girls were very well behaved. The lady at the table next to us said,"Wow, five girls!" I thought about it, but even I couldn't claim that craziness. No, only four of them are mine, yeah that sounded like a sane mama.

We miss you Dennis girls!! Please come back and visit, but make sure you bring some of that Florida sunshine with you next time!
