White Girls Can Jump

Today was Alli's first volleyball game. She did really good considering this is really the first sport that she has played. They almost won, but there were some logistical difficulties with our team that cost us. Like the fact we only had four players and it takes six. So we had to borrow girls from the other team, and wouldn't you know it, but that's who a LOT of the points were scored on. Oh well, it's all about having fun, right? And looking good, she was the cutest one there!

She was her usual timid self for a bit of the game, but then she did start to get after the ball. We were very proud of her, watching her hustle and jump and hit that ball. She really does seem to be enjoying herself, and I'm glad. It's nice to have her do something athletic rather than dramatic for a change!!

I think we have found Kathryn's future sporting career. After all, everyone always says she is awfully tall for a two year old!
