With all the past drama over grassheads around here, it was only fitting that I buy Emma a magical growing tree. She was so excited to get this little treasure.
Of course every tree needs some garland...
We doused it with the magical growing toxic water solution and waited for it to sprout overnight.

This morning Emma topped it with a star and covered it with glitter. Oh yeah, glitter is good!
The tree must have been hungry though because apparently it ate the garland! Oh well, it didn't matter, Emma was very happy with her Christmas project.
In memory of Hula, we let the tree have his old place in the kitchen window.

The beauty of this little guy is, the box flat out tells you the sucker is going to die in four days.
Emma proudly showed off her tree to Alli and Abby when they got home this evening and let them know," Yes it's pretty but it's going to be dead soon." And she skipped away happily.
Oh, I think we have come a long way since the Hula saga!
